We offer lawn care services in Sheffield and surrounding areas The service we recommend the most is our seasonal lawn care programme of treatments. Through our years of offering this service we have perfected our lawn care treatments to work with the seasons they are applied in. Our treatments start in Spring, cover all the seasons and have been specifically designed to help both maintain and feed your lawn. As the seasons change from year to year we vary our treatments but our key ingredients will always remain the same and we use these to nurture your lawn, fight disease and increase root strength so your lawn stays lush all year round.

ST1: We start in Spring with an application of herbicide, which can help to control any weeds that may have flowered early. Alongside this, we feed the lawn with essential nutrients and turf conditions, as well as introducing nitrogen to aid lawn growth, all increasing the health of your lawn throughout the first season.

ST2: In the summer months we take care of root development and include vital nutrients including phosphorous and potassium to feed the lawn through application of fertiliser alongside herbicide to kill any weeds.

ST3: As well as continuing to focus on root development through the use of fertiliser which includes high potassium, phosphorous and nutrients, we also add a dose of moss control too. This will strengthen root development, control moss and keep your lawn looking healthy.

ST4: Like the Autumn, Winter has wet weather conditions, so we continue with stronger doses of moss control which works alongside the phosphorous and potassium feed to keep the root nice and healthy. We add to this a product to fight the winter frost to keep your lawn looking green through the months ahead.

For more information please see our lawn care section of the website.

We recommend our lawn renovation service once a year. This will help keep your lawn healthy and looking lush. The tasks in lawn renovation normally include; scarification, aeration (hollow or solid tine), top dressing and over seeding. This process acts like renovating an old barn into a modern new home and through our lawn renovation service we can have your lawn looking as good as new in just under 8-12 weeks.

Scarification involves the process of removing the thatch and moss out of your lawn through raking. This will improve the soil drainage and have an instant effect on the health of your lawn. Aeration helps in improving the flow of oxygen, nutrients and moisture even further into the grass roots. Post scarification and aeration; the addition of top dressing and over seeding will help increase the rate of recovery and improve the soil surface of your lawn.

Japanese knotweed section – Japanese Knotweed has become quite the famous weed for its growth and its ability to survive any conditions. It’s surprising to think that 10 years ago nobody knew it existed. The main problem with Japanese Knotweed is the rapid rate of which it grows at and its ability to spread through its rhizome system. It can spread up to 7 metres from it’s crown and has been known to find its way through property foundations. This can cause issues when trying to buy or sell a property as banks and lenders will often lean towards declining mortgage applications without seeing an active treatment programme in place.

This is why we take the treatment and eradication of Japanese Knotweed very seriously and are experts in this field. We deal with both residential and commercial enquiries and can carry out surveys, costing from £110 which includes:-

  • An assessment of property and surrounding land.
  • A written report of our findings and recommendations (which will include a treatment programme and costs if applicable.)
  • Up to a 10 year insurance backed guarantee, which is accepted by most banks and lenders.

We understand the worry and frustration this weed can cause and the damage it can do to your property and that’s why it is important that you speak to an expert in Japanese Knotweed and that’s what we are. Call us now on 01142 244055.

Mr Proud

Very prompt care. At the survey, Richard explained in great detail the steps which he would be taking to care for my lawn and the costs involved. Exceptional service, very helpful and would love to continue with the seasonal treatments. Richard is kind, courteous and looked after my interests very well. The lawn is looking very much improved after only 1 treatment.
